I am a mom of 3 little children and a wife to an amazingly supportive husband. I always wanted to be a writer and consider myself one. The book will be written sometime between now and when I die. It’s going to happen, but not in the diaper/high chair phase of life.
I’ve always been interested in the arts. My dad is a jewelry designer as was his father, Grandpa Joe. Everything hand-crafted, nothing casted. I am a potter and opened a little studio in my house, sold pieces at fairs and to friends & family. My husband and I built our 2nd house, which we moved into. I had no furniture and no budget and had to get creative. That’s when milk paint came into my life. I bought 8 ugly chairs from Craigslist and spent 3 days coming up with a look I liked. I was so happy with them I moved onto dining chairs, a foyer table, china cabinet, bedroom furniture, etc. I’ve now sold to people I don’t know, friends that I love and hopefully some day soon at Lucketts or the like.
